While my work was initially fueled by arts education advocacy in my local community, I have since engaged stakeholders regarding arts education practice and policy locally, statewide, and nationally. I have shared preliminary research findings with ten pilot states, at Americans for the Arts’ national convention, with the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, and at Creative Many Michigan’s arts education roundtable.
As an active citizen and community member, I am dedicated to advancing the arts at every turn. I promote the arts eagerly and widely with personal time and resources. I support many local and statewide arts organizations financially and volunteer as a panelist, coordinator, juror, and consultant. Finally, I advocate, and I march.
